What is this Indicator?
This indicator shows the number of persons who are employed in the education and health services industries in the metropolitan area of West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, and Boynton Beach.
Why this is important: 
The education and health services industry is comprised of the education services sector and the health care services sector. The educational services sector is made of organizations that provide instruction or training including schools, colleges, universities, and training centers. The health care services sector includes organizations that provide medical care, health care, and social assistance. Education and health care have been growing industries in terms of economic output and employment for more than 30 years. Growth in this industry has continued during recessions, though the rate of employment growth may be slowed.
Technical Note:  The trend is a comparison between the most recent and previous measurement periods. Confidence intervals were not taken into account in determining the direction of the trend.
